Seeds of kindness...

Among the many hats I wear these days, I am president of my sons cooperative day school. My first term of presidency is over and I agreed to stay on for a second term. However, the board has a tradition of holding a transitional meeting at the outgoing presidents house. It is attended by both the outgoing and incoming board members and our director. It is a nice night to thank everyone for their year of service and to welcome the new and returning members. I of course have to make it have a little theme... So I decided on spring flowers.

I planning on having appetizers and desserts and serving some wine and sangria.   I am also planning on giving the outgoing board members a bottle of wine as a little thank you gift. However, I wanted to work on a little something to thank everyone for coming and this is what I came up with...

Favor tags that read "Sow seeds of kindness each day"

I got three different varieties of flowers and put them in little organza bags and tied them with the favor tag.

Then I put each little packet inside a plastic flower pot with green or yellow tissue paper.

A better detail of the finished product.  I think they are cute and simple and just a nice way to say thank you.
